I grew up in northern Wisconsin and later attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education. After graduation, I accepted an internship in remote Alaska, just shy of the Arctic Circle, where I taught special education in a small village of about 600 people. I spent two years there before moving to Anchorage to continue working in Special Education.
In 2024, my father reached out with an opportunity to take over his agency once he retires. It was a difficult decision, but the chance to be closer to family and apply my skills in a new field was exciting. While insurance may seem complex, I believe the same patience, care, and support I provided to my students can easily translate to helping people navigate the world of insurance.
