Rural Mutual Continues to Serve Wisconsin Communities

While the governor, Tony Evers, has introduced the Safer at Home Act to limit the spread of viral exposure, he has identified insurance as an essential service for the state. Rural Mutual Insurance is fully functioning and is taking measures to deliver our services in the safest method possible.

We are committed to remaining accessible and providing excellent insurance services all throughout Wisconsin. While some of our agents’ offices may be closed, they are still available through different forms of contact. Customers can still do business with us by phone, email, mobile app, and through our website at We will be accepting electronic signatures when needed.

If you are looking to pay your bill you can contact 866-835-9075, your agent, or go online through the MyAccount page at Reporting claims can be done by contacting 800-255-2150 or submitting a form online. If you don’t have any online account with us, sign up today for free!

Our Home Office in Madison remains operational with a majority of our staff working remotely. Procedures for this type of situation have already been established and tested and we are confident in the ability of our employees and agents to continue to serve you during this uncertain time.

It is our intent to keep all agents available to our customers. We do ask everyone to use our remote service option and avoid foot traffic as much as possible. Agents will be available through phone and email during this time as some offices may be closed to help keep our customers safe.

We are here for our customers through life’s uncertainties, and Rural Mutual Insurance is committed to be a reliable influence in our communities during this difficult time.

I am encouraged by the positive attitudes of all our employees, agents, and customer service personnel. Thank you for being a loyal customer, and we are proud to serve you in a state we all care about. We promise to protect and rebuild Wisconsin. We are Wisconsin Strong.
