5 Things to do in Wisconsin this Summer

In Wisconsin, we brave the cold winters and wait all year for a few short months of sunny summer weather. Whether you enjoy outdoor adventures, dining on a patio or attending festivals, there’s something for everyone. We’ve rounded up what you can look forward to this summer.

  1. Farm Technology Days

Rural Mutual Insurance is proud to be back as an Elite Sustaining Sponsor supporting the farming industry at Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, July 12-14, 2022, hosted by Roehl Acres in Clark County, N7779 County Highway K, Loyal, WI 54446.

Farm Technology Days is the largest agricultural show in Wisconsin and one of the largest in the nation. The three-day outdoor event showcases the latest improvements in production agriculture, including many practical applications of recent research findings and technological developments.

  1. Madison Farmers Market

Saturday mornings in Madison are best spent on Capitol Square. Stroll around the State Capitol building every Saturday morning from April through November and explore local vendors at the Dane County Farmers Market. Bring your reusable bag for local produce, and fresh flowers, and don’t forget spicy cheese bread.

The “Sheboygan Jaycees present Johnsonville Brat Days” is the traditional king of Sheboygan’s summer festivals which benefit local charities. This annual event began in 1953 and pays homage to a grand culinary tradition – the bratwurst. Sample the bratwurst in many nontraditional ways…brat taco, brat pizza, brat egg rolls, brat jambalaya, corndog brats, and of course the traditional double brat. Aug 5, 2022 – Aug 6, 2022.

  1. Wisconsin Dells Getaway

Wisconsin Dells is the perfect destination for a family getaway. Known as the Waterpark Capital of the World, it’s a tough choice to pick between the abundance of outdoor and indoor waterparks. 1. Wisconsin State Fair

Indulge in fair food, enjoy live music, and kick back! Rural Mutual is a proud sponsor of the State Fair, August 4th-14th in Milwaukee. The fair incorporates everything to love about Wisconsin; food, farms, and family. We’re giving away tickets to select lucky winners.
