5 Things to do in Wisconsin this Summer

In Wisconsin, we brave the cold winters and wait all year for a few short months of sunny summer weather. Whether you enjoy outdoor adventures, dining on a patio or attending festivals, there’s something for everyone. We’ve rounded up what you can look forward to this summer.

  1. Farm Technology Days

Farm Tech Days is the largest agricultural show in Wisconsin. The three-day outdoor event, July 23-25 in Johnson Creek, showcases the latest improvements in production agriculture. You’ll see innovative technology, agricultural education and entertainment throughout the show. Make sure to stop by the Rural Mutual tent to learn about farm safety and visit with local agents!

  1. Madison Farmers Market

Saturday mornings in Madison are best spent on the Capitol Square. Stroll around the State Capitol building every Saturday morning April through November and explore local vendors at the Dane County Farmers Market. Bring your reusable bag for local produce, fresh flowers and don’t forget spicy cheese bread.
